A black man decides to sue the State Prosecutors, the District Attorney and the District Attorney's office after being convicted of an attempted robbery and a murder he didn't commit. The Prosecutors and District Attorney want the case dismissed but, the Judge allows the former defendant to pursue his civil suit against them after he spent 18 years in prison.  14 of those years on death row.  HOW such a travesty could happen says a lot about the IMAGE those within the system have of African Americans that land in the system and African Americans that have little to no contact with the system.
